YI Meetings outside of India are also springing up and are being directed primarily to postdoctoral fellows and graduate students who are considering returning to India. The first such regional meeting was held in San Francisco in June, 2009 and was attended by >120 people. Similar gatherings are being planned for young investigators (by young investigators) at international conferences and at other regional locations. Check this site for announcements.

Half the session will be reserved for Q&A. This meeting is part of a series of Young Investigator Meetings intended to facilitate the careers of young scientists in India.
